President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party is set to launch its manifesto on Monday evening at Kasarani stadium, with their rivals in Nasa coalition scheduled to unveil theirs on Tueday.
The launch of the two manifestos has been the subject of socila media banter, criticized and hyped in equal measure, as supporters and critics clashed online.
Using a hashtag #jubileemanifestolies, President Kenyatta’s critics highlighted the promises he made in 2012 against what his government delivered.
His supporters, on the other end, using thye hashtag #Nasamanifestocopycats defended the government’s track record while discrediting the opposition.
