A Happy BIRTHDAY to Uhuru Kenyatta. GONE but NEVER forgotten. You were a MEASURED man. Your LEGACY will be remembered for YEARS to come. Although Kibaki RAISED the bar, you RAISED it even higher. Now Ruto has to DOUBLE what you did. Become a CHILD again with your grandchildren.

Happy Birthday 61 Uhuru Kenyatta; the President who dared to dream BIG & steered Kenya through some of its toughest times; the Covid-19 pandemic and global economic turmoil, as well as local verbal turmoil with grace. May God grant you many more blessed years in "retirement." pic.twitter.com/Twc6HByMw9

This was the former president’s first birthday since he handed over power to William Ruto 41 days ago.
Son of Kenya’s first president mzee Jomo Kenyatta, Uhuru’s ten-year rule is remembered for several flagship infrastructure projects he introduced including the Standard Gauge Railway, Nairobi Expressway, and Lamu Port.
His decision to politically close ranks with opposition politician Raila Odinga amid a fallout with William Ruto, his then Deputy, has also elicited mixed reactions.
Uhuru has concentrated in touring the country during his retirement, while also working as a peace envoy.
