All-Kenyan SuperSport crew to air Sunday’s derby
An all-Kenyan crew is all hands on deck for the live broadcast of the most popular fixture in the Kenyan Premier League calendar.
This clash will pit the country’s two biggest and most successful clubs, AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia, who face off in a KPL match at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday.
SuperSport, who are the league’s exclusive broadcast rights holders, are set to pull out all stops to produce a world class production with the match which will be broadcast in High Definition.
The match will be preceded by an hour long build up from SuperSport’s state-of-the art studios in Nairobi anchored by Chiko Lawi who will have former Harambee Stars’ skipper Musa Otieno and former AFC Leopards coach Gilbert Selebwa giving expert opinion and analysis on the game.
At the stadium, Dr Dan Shikanda, who played for both teams, will be pitch-side while Soccer Africa’s Claudia Ekai will take care of the social media buzz.

The Leopards, Gor league match is just but one of the various sporting events to that will be aired on SuperSport this weekend.
Other activities in what promises to be a packed schedule include the 2015 Barclays Kenya Open which concludes on Sunday.
The South Africa based Pay Tv channel will also broadcast to its viewers the Kenya National relay trials for the 2nd edition of the IAAF world relays to be held in Bahamas on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2015.
