American televangelist Guillermo Maldonado visits Kenya

American televangelist Guillermo Maldonado is in Kenya for a week-long official trip.

He was upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi on March 27, 2023,, received by several dignitaries including First Lady Rachel Ruto.

He is set to meet top government officials, host a business conference and other public meetings including a Kingdom Business Dinner during his stay in the country.

The Apostle is in the country at the invitation of Eagles Christian Church International led by the Bishop, Dr Stephen Mutua.

He is also the guest speaker at the Great Africa Harvest Conference which takes place from March 28, to April 1, 2023.

The meeting is expected to bring together business and religious leaders from across Africa.

The Apostle will be the keynote speaker at a Kingdom Business Dinner that will take place at the Weston Hotel in Nairobi.

The dinner is aimed at empowering business and religious leaders with the skills necessary to navigate the current disruptions in the marketplace.

Weston Hotel is owned by President William Ruto and the First Lady could be attending the function after recently being more involved in spiritual matters.

Apostle Maldonado said upon arrival that he is in the country purposely to bless Kenya

“I want to invite all the business community to the Weston Hotel. We gonna be there and I’m gonna have some principles for you to prosper… want you to come, bring someone and I want you to have fellowship with other business people,” Apostle Maldonado said.

The First Lady had initially announced monthly church services at State House, a place that has been a frequent visit for religious leaders since the Kenya Kwanza administration took over.

“The Bible says ‘People will go up to Jerusalem, year after year, to celebrate the feast of the tabernacles’, and I think that this is a place where people will come year after year for Thanksgiving. I want to tell the church that this is not the last service we are having, you will be coming here month after month to give thanks to the Lord for doing us good,” First Lady said.

He is the co-founder and senior pastor of El Rey Jesus (English: King Jesus Ministry) in Miami, Florida.

His church is one of the largest Hispanic church in the US with a total of 15,000 and 20,000 individuals per week.
