On April 10, 2023, the mother of five tied the knot with her Swiss beau in a splendid ceremony held at the Windsor Golf and Country Club Garden in Nairobi.
Although Denis hails from Switzerland, Akothee hinted at another wedding celebration in the picturesque Swiss landscapes.

The ‘Give It to Me’ sensation had openly expressed her admiration for her husband on various social media platforms. These posts also served as a sort of timeline, reflecting the highs and lows of the newlyweds’ relationship.
