AFC Leopards have settled on Romanian trainer, Dorian Marian, as their next coach, Nairobi News understands.

The incoming coach will replace Briton Stewart Hall who abruptly resigned a few weeks ago.

Hall is expected to take charge of the last game of his seven month reign against Tusker this weekend.

Hall, who has previously coached Azam FC of Tanzania, has overseen a far from impressive tenure, including a 3-0 drubbing by bitter rivals Gor Mahia in the Mashemeji derby last month.

FAMOUS WIN

Marian, 57, has previously been in charge of top Ghanaian club King Faisal. He has also managed Kenya international Jamal Mohammed at Oman top club Al Nasr, and famously masterminded a famous win for Eritrea’s national team over Kenya’s Harambee Stars in 2007.

Marion’s first assignment at Leopards could be at the invitational SportPesa tournament in Tanzania, that will bring together teams from Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
