Betting company BetNare has launched a road safety campaign through sports.

As part of the campaign, BetNare will reach out to pundits on its betting platforms while also rolling out a competition that will see winners getting Motorcycles in the campaign dubbed Chomoka na Nduthi in which eight bikes are up for grabs.

In the campaign, pundits who will successfully get their bets right will also get cash rewards.

According to the company, this campaign is part of its road safety awareness program it initiated this year through its betting platform.

The betting company has partnered with Car and General in the campaign which will see the motor company supply brand-new TVS bikes to be awarded to the winners.

Speaking during the signing ceremony BetNare head of Tech Mr. Kennedy Wanjahi said that the campaign is not only aimed at empowering its clients but also reaching out to many others through its platform to educate them about road safety.

“Most of our clients are the boda boda riders and we not only want them to bet and win but also to reach out to them to observe the road safety measures especially as we head towards the festive period,” Wanjahi said.

Wanjahi added: “We also realise that local football fans use motorbikes to access stadia during football matches and that dictated our decision to introduce the Chomoka na Nduthi campaign.”

BetNare further pledged to reward its lucky punters with their favorite team’s jerseys, PlayStation gaming consoles, shopping vouchers, and cash prizes in daily and weekly consolation prizes.

The company which has been working with Tuktuk and Boda Boda association to support various causes in the industry, has further pledged to dedicate 8 Million shillings in support of a road safety awareness campaign targeting boda boda riders in Nairobi, Kiambu, Kajiado, Bomet, Eldoret, Kisumu and Kakega counties.
