Cartoon Comedian responds to reports of fallout with Nasra Yusuf
By Josephine NjorogeFriendships can be as fleeting as the spotlight, and the rumored fallout between Nasra Yusuf and Cartoon Comedian has had tongues wagging for a while.
In 2022, the unlikely duo of Nasra and Cartoon Comedian took social media by storm, igniting a close-knit bond that left fans in awe. Their journey began in the middle of the year, and they affectionately referred to each other as “besties.”
Their camaraderie was on full display as they indulged in photoshoots throughout the CBD (Central Business District), showcasing outfits that set fashion trends for the girls who admired them from afar. “A sweet friendship refreshes the soul😘hey Chiquitita,” Nasra openly acknowledged their newfound sisterhood, spreading positivity in the air.
Nasra’s admiration for Cartoon Comedian reached its peak in October 2022 when she poured her heart out on Instagram, saying, “Ningekuwa chali ningeoa huyu 😩..@cartoon.comedian ❤️chiquitita 😻,” accompanying the post with a series of endearing pictures of the duo.
The world chuckled at their delightful bond and uproarious comedy skits that resonated with fans. Their on-screen chemistry was undeniable, and they made it look effortless.
However, as time went by, their joint projects dwindled, and it seemed that their shared season had come to an end. Despite their avid fans’ curiosity, neither Nasra nor Cartoon Comedian addressed the rumors swirling around their friendship. They went their separate ways, each pursuing their respective creative endeavors, leaving speculations to run rampant.
The truth finally surfaced when Cartoon Comedian broke her silence on the matter. With a mischievous giggle, she alluded to Jackie Matubia’s revelation about her feud with content creator Milly Chebby, jokingly saying, “Alisema niko na roho mbaya an sina bwana.” Her light-hearted response was a witty way of dismissing the rumors and drawing a parallel with the Matubia-Chebby situation.
However, Cartoon was quick to put any concerns to rest, assuring everyone that all was well between her and Nasra. She laughed it off, saying, “I’m playing, We are good. People are good.” The Queen of Comedy was upfront about the situation, setting the record straight on her own terms.
In a candid Q&A session with her fans on her Instagram page, Cartoon Comedian addressed the rumors once more. Encouraging fans to ask her anything, she cheekily acknowledged, “People are talking, people are saying that you are.” This playful response showed that the gossip and speculations were just that – mere talk without any substantial basis.
