Several people were injured after a police vehicle clearing traffic for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s motorcade was involved in an accident at Gesonso outside Mount Kenya University campus in Kisii town.
Witnesses say it collided with a 14-seater matatu.
The vehicle was leading the President’s entourage to Suneka airstrip after a rally at Gusii stadium.
Several people including police officers have been injured.
