Diamond Platnumz meets Zari Hassan’s husband Shakib for the first time

A recent video showing Tanzanian sensation Diamond Platnumz casually spending time with Zari Hassan and her husband, Shakib Lutaaya, has sparked a wave of mixed reactions among netizens.

The trio, along with Zari and Diamond’s two children, Tiffah and Prince Nillan, were captured together.

Diamond Platnumz, who has been in South Africa on a business visit, seized the opportunity to bond with his children, Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan.

In the video clip that surfaced on social media, Zari Hassan, Diamond Platnumz, and Shakib Cham are seen walking together, with the kids seemingly enjoying the company of their parents and Zari’s husband, Shakib.

Shakib then embraced Tiffah and Nillan, sharing heartfelt words:

“Goodbye, I’ll see you when you return. I will miss you.”

In a touching display of unity, Zari’s husband Shakib then exchanged a warm hug with her former partner, Diamond, as the mother of five captured this heartwarming moment.

Diamond arrived in Tanzania on Thursday, 19 Oct. with his two children according to a video shared by his mother Mama Dangote.

The unexpected encounter has left netizens with a whirlwind of emotions, with some expressing their astonishment at seeing Shakib Cham feeling comfortable around Zari’s former partner, Diamond Platnumz.

On the other hand, a significant number of netizens have hailed the maturity and ability of both men to coexist peacefully for the sake of their children.

This unique display of unity and co-parenting is being praised as a positive example for blended families.

Shakib is Zari’s first official husband.

She was engaged to Ivan Sswemwanga and Diamond Platnumz, but they never made it official.

Shakib, born in Kampala, Uganda, in December 1992, later relocated to South Africa, where he built his career. Details about his family, personal history, and background have remained largely undisclosed.

Zari, on the other hand, hails from Uganda and was born in the town of Jinja to Ugandan parents Nasur and Halima Hassan.
