Youthful and flamboyant pastor Pastor Lucy Natasha has opened up about the struggles she faces in her long-distance marriage.
Now three years into her marriage to Prophet Stanley Carmel, the outspoken pastor says they are still struggling to find a permanent home where they can move in together.

Natasha is based in Kenya, where she runs her Empowerment Christian Church, while her husband, who she met on Instagram, is based in Canada.
Although the couple often make endless efforts to be together, with one of them often flying to see the other, she says the struggle has been to come to a conclusion where they can both fully settle down together.
“My husband lives in Canada, I live in Kenya, but we always go back and forth to see each other. He comes to Kenya as often as he can and sometimes we meet when we have preaching engagements together. We are just into our third year of marriage. We are still trying to navigate whether to settle fully in Kenya or Canada.”  Rev Natasha says.

But she says that despite being in a long-distance marriage, they have been able to make it work for them.
“I think long distance relationships can work, that is if the two partners can communicate effectively and have the commitment and both of them can compromise because in a long distance relationship most of the time you have the challenges of time zone and not seeing each other often,” she adds.

Pastor Natasha, who also has a huge social media following with 2.2 million followers on Facebook and 2.1 million on Instagram, also opened up about being judged by society.
“I am a sinner that God has saved. We all have our weaknesses and strengths. Sometimes people put pastors on the pedestal of perfection. People should understand that pastors are also human. I am not Jesus, I only represent Jesus so I can make mistakes. I am not a mighty woman, I am just a woman serving a mighty God,” she added.
