Through his Instagram page, X-Ray expressed his profound grief, saying:
“I have never felt like this in a long time, have tried sleeping so that I could wake up from this nightmare. So much pain to lose you as a friend, brother, my producer. You and I have done so much. Hit after hit, we have recorded more than 100 songs together. It’s ok; we have to let you go, but we will never forget you. We will always keep you in our hearts forever. RIP @_thebeatgod AAAI PAPIII.”
Byron Kivisi, the creative genius behind chart-toppers like “Sipangwingwi” and “Usherati,” suffered a fatal arterial rupture. His death has been described as a loss felt deeply within the music industry.
In an official statement released by his family, the circumstances surrounding Byron Kivisi’s tragic passing were revealed.

Byron, the beloved son of Evans Muhali, experienced an arterial rupture on the morning of his untimely demise.
The news of Byron Kivisi’s passing has sent shockwaves through the nation, leaving music fans and industry insiders in mourning.
His contributions to the music world extended beyond catchy tunes and rhythms, as evidenced by the fact that “Sipangwingwi” was used in President Ruto’s 2022 campaigns, demonstrating the widespread appeal of his music.
President William Ruto had earlier led the country in morning the deceased, recalling their collaboration and the introduction of X-Ray during a music recording session for the hit song “Sipangwingwi” at the Deputy President’s residence in Karen.
“I recall with fondness his calm and collected demeanor, but more importantly, his immense talent that made him an acclaimed music producer. It is disheartening that we have lost Byron at a prime age. We are comforted by the fact that his works of art will live on,” President Ruto stated in a message on the X platform.
