Jose Chameleone addresses allegations of domestic violence
By Elizabeth NgigiUgandan music icon Jose Chameleone has responded to recent allegations of domestic violence involving his wife, Daniella Atim.
In an interview with BBS TV, the Valu Valu hitmaker addressed the allegations and insisted that setbacks will not deter him from his path.
“Every time there’s power or success, there’s also a power that brings setbacks. But it doesn’t hurt me and it doesn’t move me,” Chameleone said.
“For those who need details, please call her in America and ask her. But at the end of the day, I do my job.
Acknowledging his imperfections as a human being, Chameleone stressed his reliance on faith and divine judgment.
“I am not an angel; I fail sometimes and succeed sometimes. My role now is to work, to look for money for myself and my children, and to make myself happy. The rest I leave to God; he will judge,” he affirmed.
The interview comes in the wake of revelations by Daniella Atim, who recently revealed her status as a single mother living in the United States.
In a social media post, Atim shared insights into her life in suburban Minnesota, highlighting her journey of faith and resilience in the face of past domestic violence.
“I live in suburban Minnesota with my five children, my faith is anchored in Jesus, His grace, love and mercy have changed everything for me,” Atim wrote, reflecting on her experiences.
“I moved to the US exactly five years ago, seeking refuge from many things, including the domestic violence I endured for 16 years.”
Despite the challenges she has faced, Atim remains steadfast in her role as a single mother, navigating the complexities of raising five children on her own.
“I am a single mother raising my five children on my own,” she affirmed. “Even though the age I’m turning this year seems too serious.”
Optimistic about her future, Atim expressed her commitment to personal growth and healing.
“I am choosing to relive my early life while healing my nervous system. I am a beautiful work in progress,” she concluded.
