Kenyan gay woman weds her model lover in US – PHOTOS

A Kenyan gay woman in the United States has tied the knot with her lover in in the United States.

Manuella Mumbi, alias Manuelle Royale, exchanged vows with Lisa Webb Clay in low key gay wedding in Texas.

Mumbi is a businesswoman who was born and raised in Kahawa, Kiambu County.

She relocated to the United States to live with her lover before their wedding.

Webb Clay is an American model from Texas. She invited Mumbi to the US to formalize their engagement.

The wedding ceremony had no witnesses except for the cleric who officiated their union at the local county offices.

After the wedding, Mumbi took to her Facebook page and posted pictures of her big day.

She captioned them with a sweet message to her new partner. “Unto us a day was given. Been a journey of love. Yes I do love you now and forever.”

Under Texas law, persons authorized to perform weddings include licensed or ordained Christian ministers or priests, Jewish Rabbis, and an officer of a religious organization who is authorized by the organization to conduct a marriage ceremony.

The ceremony was officiated by an ordained minister.
