Safaricom was allowed to do banking and financial business, now it’s milking Kenyans dry bado watuuzie milk na bread sasa. The hospital should not encroach laundry business. It will dilute its core business in health. This is not growth it’s something else.

They’ve always been doing it, just never advertised it. Their laundry capacity is huge to just use it for hospital laundry requirements, their prices are good too. They’ll never be like Safaricom because this cannot be scaled like mpesa

Where is the problem with the laundry business when you want to diversify your venture, and more so, when you are a registered TRUST (and enjoy some tax relief)? pic.twitter.com/jJjixtafgT

Really? Are your laundry machines that many or business is not good? And why not appeal to other hospitals that handle your kind of linen and related laundry?

The hospital has in the recent past offered medical services to the who is who in East Africa including former president Daniel Moi, opposition leader Raila Odinga, Kampala Mayor Elias Lugwago, and former Uganda Central Bank governor Emmanuel Mutebile.
