Lupita hangs out with ‘funniest Ugandan’ Kansiime
By EVELYNE MUSAMBIOscar award winner Lupita Nyong’o experienced comedian Anne Kansiime’s jokes while on a shoot location in Uganda.
Lupita, who has been in the East African country since March shooting Disney’s Queen of Katwe movie, crowned the humorous Kansiime as the funniest Ugandan.
She posted a photo grind of the two on Instagram captioning it, “Monday Moment of Magic with the one and only Anne Kansiime. Funniest Ugandan period.”
Looks like Kansiime really cracked up Lupita as the series of photos vary from a serious look, to a surprise look and then to one where the actress is down on the floor with laughter.
Lupita announced during this year’s Oscar that she would be working on the movie based on the book Queen of Katwe.
She will play Harriet Mutesi, the mother of Phiona Mutesi the queen of chess.
The release date for the movie is yet to be announced.
