Maraga awarded honorary degree by US university – PHOTOS

Chief Justice David Maraga is now a holder of an honorary degree from a United States university.

Maraga, who was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Andrews University in Michigan, USA on Sunday,  shared the good news on Tuesday.

An elated Maraga said he was honored to have been awarded the honorary degree by the US institution.

INSPIRED AND FIRED

This is Maraga’s second Doctor of Laws honorary after he was awarded another by Daystar University in 2018.

The Chief Justice, in his acceptance speech then, said the honor inspired, fired and emboldened him to continue discharging his duties to Kenyans in the administration of justice.

Maraga holds a Master of Laws Degree (LLM) from the University of Nairobi; a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the same University, and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Kenya School of Law.
