Maureen Waititu and Frankie Just Gym It, former partners and now co-parents, came together in a heartwarming celebration to mark their son Lexi’s eighth birthday over the weekend.

In a display of unity and co-parenting, the ex-lovers took to Instagram, sharing a video capturing the birthday festivities.

The heartwarming post read:

“Over the weekend, we celebrated this Shujaa of ours. Happy 8th Birthday to my amazing Lexi! 🎉🎂 You bring endless joy and laughter into our lives. Here’s to another year of adventure and growth. We love you! 🎈.”

In a recent YouTube interview with Lynn Ngugi, Maureen expressed her joy about their newfound co-parenting journey.

“It’s good. It’s very new to us. We recently started co-parenting. We have been very careful not to make it about us, so we have been out there talking about it, but yes, we are co-parenting,” Maureen explained.

She emphasized the happiness she feels seeing her two sons spending quality time with their father, marking a positive step forward in their relationship.

This progress comes after their breakup, which occurred approximately five years ago.

The content creator also opened up about her journey to rebuild her life, highlighting the emotional turmoil caused by cyberbullying, which at times pushed her to consider quitting social media.

Despite the immense challenges she faced, Maureen remained steadfast in her authenticity, choosing not to engage in unnecessary conflicts.

“There was nothing normal about what I was going through,” she reflected during the interview.

She recalled incidents that occurred in 2019, which were instrumental in shaping her as an individual.

“When God decides to send a message, he will even use your most painful moments to do that. This (2019) is the year that made me who I am, and the bigger message is being sent through whatever I went through. Nobody should make the mistake of thinking it’s a woiyee story. It’s life. Life happens, and we are here to see another day,” she said.
