Gospel singer Mr Seed says online feud has cost him money.

He was speaking on the ongoing beef between musicians, Bahati and Willy Paul.

“Like I was in issues a few weeks ago… Online feud cost me two endorsement and my shows were cancelled. So imagine the situation these two are in. Those are things that should be sorted out privately,” he said.

Seed issued a heartfelt plea to his former friends Willy Paul and Bahati, urging reconciliation and lamenting the rift that has marred their once-close relationship.

Willy Paul was arrested on cyberbullying charges, according to Caroline Giseve, a lawyer who represents musician Diana Bahati.

“Jail was made for men. We’ve slept inside… So maybe his turn was written, even passed through that,” he remarked.

Expressing empathy towards Bahati’s struggles, Mr Seed offered words of encouragement.

“Willy, Bahati and I have grown up in the same place, we’re like brothers. I was very heartbroken to see what happened… So if there is any resolution, they should sort it away from the law. This would be best,” he urged.

EmphasiSing the importance of brotherhood and unity, Mr Seed urged an end to the animosity and a return to collaboration.

“People should just stop it. Let’s love each other, work together, not wish for someone else’s failure, not insult each other, those things should be sorted out outside,” he said.

The roots of the case trace back to incidents in 2021 when Willy Paul made online claims about being in a relationship with Diana before she married fellow musician Bahati.

However, Diana accused Willy Paul of attempted rape, prompting the court to order her to remove the video after Willy Paul filed a defamation suit against her.

Willy Paul has since claimed that his longtime rival, Bahati, has been using his wife to settle scores with him.
