But that’s bad news for residents as Nairobi stands revealed as among the most expensive in which to live.
A shocking new survey shows our Kenyan capital is the third dearest city in Africa.
Soaring rent and fuel prices have pushed the cost of living well above Cairo, Cape Town and Lagos and above too most cities in Asia and Eastern Europe.
Nairobi is ranked behind only Johannesburg and Kampala in Africa, according to a new list prepared by cost of living experts.
