Police probe death of Kawangware man found naked on his bed
By Nyaboga KiagePolice in Nairobi have launched investigations after the body of a man was found inside his rented house.
A police report reveals the body of Mr George Gatitu was found lying on his bed while he was naked.
The matter was reported to Muthangari Police Station by one John Kamau.
Mr Kamau said he received a call from Mr Gatitu’s neighbors who broke the disturbing news to him.
“He reported that today in the evening he received a report from a neighbor that his uncle namely George Gatitu was lying dead in his house. He went to his uncle’s house which is located in Msalaba Area, Kawangware which is about four kilometers of the station and found the door wide open when he entered he found his uncle’s dead body on the bed,” the report read in part.
The officers moved to the scene and found the body of the deceased in the same position as they had been briefed without any physical injuries.
Neighbors told the police that the deceased was last seen alive over a week ago.
“The scene was processed by csi and body moved to city mortuary awaiting postmortem,” the report further read.
The incident took place barely three days after the body of a man was found lying on the floor of his home in Ruthimitu in Kabete, Nairobi County.
In a report seen by this reporter, officers at Kabete Police Station in Dagoretti Sub-County, Nairobi, launched investigations after receiving a report of the sudden death of Mr Eric Thairu Ragui, 61.
“It was reported by Mr James Wainaina at about 6:40pm that he found his brother lying unresponsive in his iron sheet house. Police officers rushed to the scene at Ruthimitu, about 5 kilometres south of the station, and found the access to the house locked from inside, so they broke the gate to the compound and the door to the house,” the report reads in part.
