Police recover Pastor Kanyari’s stolen car
By NAIROBI NEWS TEAMA vehicle belonging to controversial pastor Victor Kanyari has been recovered along Kangundo Road in Nairobi, two hours after it was stolen at his church on Sunday morning.
According to well placed sources at BuruBuru Police Station, the Sh 8 million worth Range Rover was stolen moments after the pastor parked it at his church in Kamukunji where he had gone to preside over the Sunday service.
Immediately the theft was noticed, Kanyari notified the police of the car’s disappearance.
The police then circulated the vehicle’s registration number and started tracing the car with the aid of a track device.
This search led the detectives to Kangundo Road where the car had been abandoned by the thieves. No arrests have so far been made.
