Mr King’ori joined the National Police Service with a first-class honours degree and trained alongside Secondary School graduates.
He is amongst the few officers who clawed their way up the ladder of the police service very fast. It took him only nine years from a civilian to a gazetted officer (Senior Superintendent).
The only time he ever spoke in public was when his wife, Mercy Wangiri, passed away in February 2019.
