Ruger, Wakadinali, Kahush, set for Shoke Shoke festival in September

They are all geared up to captivate fans with their electrifying performances.
This musical extravaganza will unfold at the Shoke Shoke Festival, a vibrant extension of Mwanaume Ni Effort, on September 9, within the scenic grounds of Uhuru Gardens.
The Uhuru Gardens event will be a finale of mini-events that the organizers have planned to keep the sustainability conversation going using art, film, fashion, and more.
Shoke Shoke’s social media pages will also have various activities backed by influencers.
The buzz is undeniable following the success of the debut festival. It’s no surprise that Shoke Shoke 1.0, featuring Ayra Starr, was trending in the top 3 on Google Trends.

The debut festival garnered 5,000+ concertgoers, 20 million TikTok challenge views, Number 1 trending on Kenyan Twitter in March, and 8,000 trees planted.
Shoke Shoke has once again teamed up with Miti Alliance and pledged to plant one tree for each ticket sold.
This will be Ruger’s third performance in Kenya.
With Kenyan’s love for rap, gengetone, and drill, the selected Kenyan artists heavily favour these genres and are amongst the current biggest acts.

The organizers of the Shoke Shoke Festival postponed the event from July 19, 2023, due to the anti-government protests in the country.
The organizers also assured the attendees that their tickets would still be valid for the rescheduled date.
“We are taking all necessary steps to ensure a seamless transition to the new date with improved amenities and an even more unforgettable experience for each attendee.”
