Samidoh and Edday Nderitu. Who cheated first?
By Beth NyamburaSamidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu has responded to a viral interview of her husband’s claiming she was the first to cheat in their marriage.
The said interview was done four years ago and it keeps popping up every time the family is trending for their marital woes.
The video surfaced barely a day after Edday took to social media to announce her decision not raising her children in a polygamous marriage.
She blamed Samidoh for humiliating and disrespecting their marriage despite her helping him in building his brand.
Nderitu said the last three years had been full of pain following the singer’s relationship with nominated Senator Karen Nyamu.
The viral video is of Samidoh explaining that he does not have an ex as he married his first love.
He added that the woman he married cheated on him but he chose to forgive.
While pressed to explain how he managed to forgive, the singer stated that it was by the grace of God that he put the painful experience aside.
“Na ule mwenye alikuheart break? (Who broke your heart?)” asked the interviewer.
“Ni huyu tu nko na yeye. Sina ex mimi. I married my first love si wote tulisumbuana lakini tukaona badala ya kuenda kutafuta ingine nikarudi. (It is the person I am with as I do not have an ex)” Samidoh explained.
Edday has since downplayed the claims and responded wondering who would forgive a cheating woman.
“🤣🤣🤣is there a man who can stay with a woman after cheating…” she commented on the video.
It is not clear if the two have sorted out their issues as Samidoh has not talked about the post his wife shared.
On Sunday, Samidoh was under social media pressure to publicly declare his stand.
He shared a motivational quote on his social media platforms talking about relationships that still have not satisfied the online Kenyan community.
Samidoh shared pictures of how a concert he attended went down, showing that fans flocked to the venue despite his recent drama.
“Nobody sees the stars during the day, but in the night, they are visible,” he wrote.
“God knows how to hide you till it’s your time to shine. Your invisibility doesn’t mean you are not existing. It only means it’s not your time yet.”
The father of five added that he is patiently waiting for God’s timing as it is always perfect.
This writer has tried in vain to reach out to the couple, Samido and Edday as well as nominated senator Karen Nyamu.
