Wahu’s message to daughter as she turns 18
By Elizabeth NgigiTumiso, the firstborn daughter of power couple Nameless and Wahu, has officially turned 18 today, marking a significant milestone in the family’s journey.
Tumiso was born on August 1, 2006, and her proud parents couldn’t hide their joy as they reflected on the remarkable experience of raising their first child.
In an interview with Nairobi News, Wahu, the mother of three, shared her emotions as she reminisced about their early days as new parents.
“We had a chat last night with my husband, Nameless, and all we could remember was the first time we became parents. It was the best day of our lives. We are still wondering how fast time has gone. All we wish for Tumiso is the best,” she said.
Regarding birthday plans, Wahu mentioned that they were still figuring out the best way to celebrate the day with family and a few close friends.
On her socials’ Wahu also shared the memory of Tumiso’s birth, painting a vivid picture of that special day.
“Around 8AM on August 1, 2006, I gave birth normally to the most beautiful little girl. 3.5 kg, chubby and cute, with the strongest suckle ever. I couldn’t believe I was finally holding her in my arms—this sweet child that had been forming inside me for a good nine months,” Wahu wrote, capturing the profound emotions of becoming a mother for the first time.
Now, 18 years later, Wahu finds it almost unbelievable that her once tiny, chubby baby girl is now an adult.
“Today that cute little girl turns 18! My sweet love is today an adult! It really does feel like just the other day I was rocking her to sleep cradled in my arms,” she shared, echoing the sentiments of many parents who marvel at how quickly time flies.
As Tumiso embarks on this new chapter of her life, Wahu offered her heartfelt wishes for her daughter’s future.
“I pray that you will find the things that God put you on this earth to do and that you will pursue them relentlessly,” Wahu said.
