Arsenal legend Thierry Henry in town to meet Kenyan fans – PHOTOS

Arsenal Football Club legend Thierry Henry landed in Nairobi Thursday night to interact with Kenyan fans at the ‘Guinness Fanzone’ to be held at RFUEA Impala grounds on Saturday.

The former Arsenal skipper will meet over 1,000 fans as they watch the EPL match  between Arsenal and Newcastle on TV screens.

Henry is in Kenya for the first time will be in the country for three days under the their ‘Made of Black’ campaign.

Kenyan artistes and DJ’s will be in hand to entertain fans during the event. Those set to perform are Nyashinski, Fena, Hart the Band and Jua Cali.

Kenya’s top deejays to perform include G Money, Joe Mfalme, Kriss Darling, DJ Andie and DJ JP.

Henry is famous for his time at English Premier League club Arsenal where he was part of a team that won two league titles and three FA Cups, as well as leading his team to the 2006 UEFA Champions League final in his role as captain.

Named Professional Footballers’ Association Players’ Player of the Year twice, and the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year three times, Thierry Henry enriched the football viewing experience for all fans of the sport.
