Avril shuts down a YouTube troll, and it’s glorious
Kenyan entertainer Avril took to Instagram on Monday to give her piece of mind to a hater who had trashed her song, Nikimuona.
Avril must have been trawling the comments section of the video on YouTube where one Patricia Ayodi had posted a mean comment.
“Are you Kenyan? If not I understand, if yes you are a big contribution to the bad music and music videos Kenyan musicians give,” reads the comment.

Incidentally, Patricia is responding to a comment by Caroline Mband: “Kenyan music so pathetic.”
But rather than cry herself to sleep, the songstress took a screenshot of Patricia’s comment and gave her thoughts: “Sometimes I wonder why some people are so mean… Is your life that sad? Life is too short fam… don’t spend it on YouTube and social media in general trying to find release. Walk, run, work, eat, cook, love, laugh, listen to good music, skip on what you feel is bad music and bad vibes, live life… enjoy life. #SendingYouPositiveVibes”
Avril says Nikimuona, which was released in November 2014 and has been watched more than 450,000 on YouTube, is a “story of a young lady in love and the dilemma of being the one who wants to make the first move”.
