AY on the war path with local artist
Tanzanian rapper AY is angry at one of Nairobi’s most popular video directors, Kevin Bosco.
AY has accused Bosco of failing to deliver a video he shot in November last year in which he collaborated with hip-hop icon Fid Q, also a Tanzanian.
“We spent over one week in Nairobi shooting the video. We were supposed to release it in December but we haven’t got it yet. I’m supposed to be releasing a new video this month but Bosco has messed us up,” AY said on phone.
Bosco agreed that he had delayed the video, blaming it on the loss of part of the footage.
“Part of my equipment was stolen in Mombasa in December and the matter is with the police,” he explained.
