Babu Owino: I will be your president soon
Embakasi East-elect MP Paul Ongili, popularly known as Babu Owino, has laid out his 10 year political plan that includes winning the presidency.
The newly elected legislator said on Friday that he will contest for governor and presidency in 2022 and 2027 respectively.
He told Nairobi residents to get familiar with his face because he will be the president of Kenya soon.
“I will be your president so zoea rais wako mapema (get used to your president in good time),” he said during an interview on Citizen TV on Friday night.
The former University of Nairobi student leader said he has always had a plan to fight for the oppressed.
“I was elected three consecutive times as a student leader and my services to the students can be seen and felt,” he added.
He said his first assignment as Embakasi East MP will be to fight the perennial water shortage in his constituency.
“I used to fight for the oppressed and I will not stop.”
Babu further said he will liaise with the county government to ensure roads are constructed in his constituency.
The ODM elected MP said that he will forge a working relationship with the Nairobi governor Mike Sonko to see how he can help his constituents.
