Babu Owino promises Embakasi East residents ‘heaven on earth’

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino now wants all Kenyans planning to relocate to Nairobi to consider settling in his constituency.

The controversial MP made the remarks on social media while also bragging about the prosperity of Embakasi East constituency since he was elected into office one year ago.

Among the things he cited as his big achievements are good roads and ample supply of water to the residents.

His remarks, however, elicited mixed reactions from his fans.

“Hello, can the contractor assigned on the Fedha aviation road redo the work. It’s not durable enough. The roads have started wearing out,” said Tinah Odhiambo Nyakano.

“Factor in kwa ndege roads are pathetic and I could suggest each and every landlord to put cabros outside their house,” wrote Musyoki Max.

“As long as the sewage still flows all over the estates like Soweto and other slums within your jurisdiction, I will not take your words seriously on your call for Nairobi president post. Though you’re doing better, the last time I went to Tasia and Juakali Embakasi I was not impressed at all,” commented Wuod Awendo Sony.

“Hahaha! Babu how many constituencies do we have in Africa? Nway determination and competency is Paramount,” said Kaka Maneno.

“Actions speak louder. Utawala Road deplorable and yet we voted,” said Ben O. Osuga.

“We don’t need promises we need actual things,” wrote Pauline Wambui.

“One year down the line… still promising,” said M.n. Wa Ikenye.
