Babu Owino serenades wife after victory in court battle
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino poured out his heart to his wife Fridah after his election was upheld by the Supreme Court last Friday.
The youthful legislator credited his wife’s support, thanking God for their marriage.
Fridah – who has a daughter – with the MP had accompanied him to the Supreme Court during the delivery of the verdict.
Babu shared a photo taken in court and wrote; “Thanks to God for my ever beautiful wife and my personal advisor. What matters most is family for any other thing is vanity. Fathers can give their sons houses and wealth but only the LORD can give an understanding and a prudent wife(Proverbs 19:14).”
The legislator had in a previous interview detailed how he met Fridah when both were first year students at the University of Nairobi.
The two dated for three years and held a traditional ceremony that marked the start of their marriage life.
Fridah has been running programmes in Embakasi East constituency focusing on women and children.
