Bad state of Muthurwa forces hawkers into CBD
Reading about Muthurwa market in your paper yesterday made me recall the excitement among us hawkers, seven years ago when the place was opened.
We thought our problems of space and running battles with council askaris were over.
But it has been a rude shock because the bad state of the market has driven customers away and we now have to follow them on the city centre streets and keep fighting with the askaris to make a living.
