Media personality Betty Kyallo, known for her vibrant presence on screen, has showered praise on the man she is currently dating.
Speaking at the launch of their reality TV show ‘Kyallo Kulture,’ where Betty stars alongside her sisters Mercy and Gloria, the former news anchor expressed contentment in her current relationship.
During the event, Betty enthusiastically shared:
“The man I am dating is such a breath of fresh air. He is not a bad boy, nor a narcissist. I feel settled in myself, and I believe I am a stronger version of how people have always known me,” she said.
Betty also opened up about her bond with her daughter, Ivanna, highlighting how they have found common ground.
She revealed plans to get a second child with her current bae.
“My daughter has grown into such a big girl. Nowadays, Ivanna and I bond through makeup and TikTok. I think she’s eager for a baby brother.
Let’s wait and see if the man I am dating will help us move that forward,” she revealed with a smile.
Besides ending his marriage to fellow TV star Dennis Okari, Kyallo has also dated a prominent Mombasa politician, a Nairobi lawyer and Nairobi based businessman of Somali origin.
Betty also touched upon her recent weight loss journey, sharing her progress with attendees.
“I was above 90 kilos, but I have currently lost six kilograms,” Betty shared, illustrating her dedication to achieving personal wellness goals.
The launch of ‘Kyallo Kulture’ not only unveiled the reality TV show featuring Betty and her sisters but also provided a platform for the media personality to share glimpses of her personal life and aspirations.
During the launch, Betty said her sister, Mercy received the news that their show would be returning for a second season while she was abroad, and she promptly flew back to Kenya.
However, it was Betty who took on the task of convincing Mercy to commit to the new season fully.
“I took them out for a drink and shared the exciting news. Gloria seemed fine with it, but I had to do some convincing with Mercy.
I assured them that there was a bigger budget for the upcoming season, which helped sway Mercy’s hesitation.”
The second season of the show will delve deeper into the lives of the three Kyallo sisters.
The show will follow their individual paths as well as their collective efforts to reconnect.
