Radio station Capital FM has had a change of heart and will roll out big changes as they unveil Anita Nderu as the new host of Hits Not Home Work show on Monday night.

An inside source has indicated that there will be a new format of the show.

This follows a public outcry after Nderu was picked to host the show following the departure of  Amina Abdi who moved to host NTV’s The Trend.

The station had in September 2017 organised a lengthy talent search to hunt for the show’s new host, but settled for Nderu who was already a presenter at the station.

As a result, many fans felt the talent search was a marketing gimmick.

Under the new format, Ms Nderu will be assisted by a new DJ as well as two new hosts picked from the talent search.

The talent search that was supposed to culminate in the announcement of the new host.

The ideal candidate for the job was supposed to be between the age of 19 and 25 years, with no prior experience, ‘just be dope’, the station had announced.
