‘Black box’ of ill-fated Ethiopian Airlines aircraft found
The ‘Black box’ flight recorder from the Ethiopian Airlines plane, which crashed on Sunday killing all 157 people on board, has been found.
This is according to the BBC which has quoted the Ethiopian state media.
In a tweet, Ethiopian Airlines said that Cockpit Voice Recorder has also been recovered from the crash scene.
“The Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) of ET302 have been recovered,” the airlines said in the tweet.
The Ethiopia Airlines’ Boeing 737 Max crashed on Sunday morning minutes after taking off from Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa.
The crash claimed the lives of all 149 passengers and eight crew members who were on board.
The plane’s destination was Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
