Blankets and Wine made a comeback last Sunday at the Ngong Racecourse with South African rapper AKA as the main act.

DJ Suraj closed the event night with a set of his signature electronic beats over ethnic tribal vibes.

Both the young and old were not disappointed in the performance and the fun activities at the ground.

There was a silent disco for people to dance to music listened to on wireless headphones that were at the grounds.

Revelers could also eat and drink from the long list of vendors and restaurants who offered their dining experiences at a great price.

A specially curated pop-up area was set up featuring talented and globally resounding fashion and accessories designers from Kenya at special promotional prices following a theme dubbed ‘Made in KE’.

Blankets and Wine was started in 2008 as a platform for the promotion, celebration and exposure of emerging live Kenyan music.

The festival had its 50th anniversary back in January 2014 in a two-day event.
