Bobby Mapesa finds the Lord after sermon

Ladies and gentlemen, rapper Bobby Mapesa is saved. The Tuzidi musician has exclusively told Showbuzz that he got saved last Sunday when he went to church after 11 years.

He says the pastor’s sermon spoke to him and he had a change of heart — that all the beef and negativity does not seem worth it now.

“I hope that anyone I ever wronged forgives me, I have found it in my heart to forgive anyone that offended me. I now have an open heart and I realise that all this beef and negativity isn’t everything and I’m inviting everyone to join me,” he said.

Mapesa reveals that his mother invited him to church and that the last time he was in church was 11 years ago, still with his mom.

NEGATIVE INFLUENCES

“When I was younger, when people used to go to church, I would go to F2. I haven’t told my mom that I’m saved yet but I guess my fans now know. Growing up, I had negative influences that shaped me and I don’t think that’s who I am. I want to use my talent for positivity because I know small kids follow my music and sing along to every lyric,” said Mapesa.

For those that think he is doing this for publicity, Mapesa will “pray for you and forgive you.”

“I have been angry with the media and society for a long time but I’m letting go because I want to enjoy life in a positive way. I want to leave a legacy that will stand the test of time,” he says.

Going forward with his music, Mapesa says he would like to work with Mercy Masika who really impresses him.
