Boniface Mwangi: Pupils had every right to protest along Mbagathi road
Aspiring Starehe MP Boniface Mwangi has lashed out at Kenyans who protested the involvement of school children in demonstrations over a demolished school.
Mwangi, who in the past has demonstrated against the grabbing of school land, said the children had every right to protest the demolition on the road.
His sentiments came after the emergence of photos of Kenyatta Golf Course School pupils protesting along Mbagathi road.
The activist cum politician said those saying the children should not have been part of the protest should be angry at the people who demolished the school.
In a series of tweets, Mwangi justified the children’s involvement urging those who were irked to lash out at the land grabbers.
Kenyans never cease to amaze me. You’re upset that kids were protesting instead of being ANGRY that someone grabbed their school land? Shame pic.twitter.com/ihExuHSUKc
