Brace for heavy traffic as Uhuru tours city
Nairobians should brace for heavy traffic for the better part of the day as President Uhuru Kenyatta will on Wednesday be visiting several neighbourhoods in Nairobi and Kiambu Counties.
The president’s tour will begin midday at Ruaka before proceeding to Wangige, Kikuyu and will end at Dagoretti.
Ruaka, Wangige and Kikuyu are in Kiambu County while Dagoretti is part of Nairobi County.
The President will meet with leaders and also speak with members of the public on his development agenda since the Jubilee administration came into office.
His tour comes days after he cancelled his scheduled tours inMeru and Tharaka Nithi counties.
The president and his deputy William Ruto have been making trips arounf the country to highlight the government’s achievements while popularising the Jubilee Party.
