British PM David Cameron accepts invitation to visit Nairobi
British Prime Minister David Cameron has accepted an invitation by President Uhuru Kenyatta to visit Kenya early next year.
Mr Cameron accepted the invitation on Tuesday during a meeting with President Kenyatta on the sidelines of the ongoing United Nations General Assembly in New York.
No specific dates were however set for the visit.
During the visit, the British Premier is expected to among other things sign a new agreement that allows British soldiers to train in Kenya.
About 10,000 British soldiers train in the country every year in Laikipia and Samburu.
The agreement signed five years ago has expired but was extended to next month.
