Brown Mauzo, the former husband of socialite Vera Sidika, has ignited speculation about a new romantic relationship through his social media channels.

Taking to his Instagram account, the father of five shared a photo featuring an unidentified lady, intriguing his followers.

The lady’s face was discreetly concealed behind a love emoji.

The news of the couple’s separation emerged on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, catching the attention of fans and followers who were curious about their respective paths forward.

In a statement shared on social media, Mauzo expressed:

“After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways… as we embark on this new chapter, we kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy during this time.”

Vera reacted by posting photos from a flight, along with a caption that read, “Catch flights, not feelings. Guess my next stop.”

A mere week later, Vera Sidika embarked on a journey to the United States, where she introduced a mysterious new man into her life, just days after openly revealing her single status.

While some fans extended their congratulations to Vera for her swift transition, others raised concerns about what they perceived as hasty decision-making.

Vera Sidika, however, responded to her critics with a resolute and unapologetic message.

“Life is too short to care about what society thinks. Go, be happy, go fall in love, go live and enjoy life. Life is not a rehearsal, baby,” Vera declared.

The Coast-based singer had previously hinted at his willingness to explore romantic endeavors once again. When asked if he was prepared to embrace love anew, Mauzo confidently affirmed:

“Brown, do you want to fall in love again? Sure, today, tomorrow, now… love comes to you.”

Vera and Brown Mauzo got married during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“In October 2020, we officially tied the knot, and for all the skeptics and social media enthusiasts, I have brought along my marriage certificate,” she said during The Real Housewives of Nairobi reunion.
