Jimal Roho Safi’s ex-wife Amira eye’s Senator seat in 2027 polls
The newly elected Senators have not even been sworn into office yet but businesswoman Amira has already announced her bid to replace one of them in 2027.
Via a post on Instagram, Amira, the estranged wife of famed businessman Jimal ‘Roho Safi’ Mohammed stopped short of indicating which county she is keen on vying in ahead of the August 2027 polls.
Amira has been on a journey of rebranding herself in the past few months following her fallout with her husband, who doubles up as the chairman of the Matatu Operators Association.

Two weeks ago, she sent social media into a frenzy after sharing photos indicating her body transformation on Instagram.
The photos suggested a significant weight loss for the mother of two and she did not stop praising herself for the feat.
The weight loss came soon after Amira announced she will concentrate more on ‘taking care of herself’.
“The grass is not greener on the other side; it’s greener where you water it. And that’s on putting myself first. I did it! I’m so proud of myself! This is how -17kgs looks like *pats myself on the back*,” she explained.
Amira has previously made headlines following her open disagreement with the father of her two sons which led to her filing for a divorce.
She sent out an emotional post on social media asking her fans to stop associating her with her husband as they were no longer together.
