Caroline Mutoko set to sponsor youth to attend Colombia summit
Media personality Caroline Mutoko has unveiled a leadership that will see her sponsor one Kenyan to attend the One Young World Summit taking place in Bogotá, Colombia
The Caroline Mutoko Leadership Award will sponsor one Kenyan aged 18 to 30 attend the event sheduled to run from October 4 to7.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and the winner delegate will attend the summit alongside Caroline Mutoko and other African leaders such as Thuli Madonsela (former Public Protector of South Africa) and Hassan Bubacar Jallow (Chief Justice of the Gambia).
“Everything I am today can be traced back to the people who looked past my age, saw my promise and potential and sort only to bring out the best in me. They pushed me, cheered me on and motivated me to do more, to be more. And because I can never pay it back, it’s time to pay it forward,” Ms Mutoko said whil unveiling the program.
The sponsorship will include a full delegate pass to the summit to be attended by 1,200 delegates from 196 countries drawn from all industries and sectors.
