Cartoon the comedian insists she was attacked by thugs
Comedian Vanessa Akinyi, popularly known as Cartoon, has rubbished claims she is clout chasing after revealing how she was beaten up by goons reportedly hired by a popular female Kenyan artist.
In an Instagram post, Cartoon says she could not hurt herself for clout chasing purposes.
“Why should I chase clout yet I have die hard supportive fans?” she asked.
The content creator recently displayed what she said were injuries acquired from her experience with goons. She adds that the goons descended on her after she made an opinion about a female artist’s talents.
“Its high time we stop being petty. Hata heri ungeniita ningemsaidi kuandika lines, it’s a hidden talent I have. Let’s just mature up as artistes, look at the damage, but thanks to make up I am healing,” a rather disappointed Cartoon said.
In a screenshot she shared, Cartoon was ordered to pull down a post she had made by the said artist.
“Tuheshimiane if you don’t take that post down within 24 hours we will have a serious problem,” she posted.
