Cartoonist Maddo in mourning after losing wife
Kenyan cartoonist Maddo real name Paul Kelemba is in mourning following the death of his wife Eunice Kelemba.
Kelemba and The Maddess, as he fondly refers to his wife of 33 years, share three children; Chris, Wambui and Nanga.
While mourning her, he added that his wife had been a central pillar in his life and that she will live on in their lives forever.
“I appreciate and thank you for your messages of comfort, love and encouragement in different forums Sunday 15 November 2020. Eunice – The Maddess – has been a central pillar in my life for 33 years, with three exciting kids, Chris Wambui and Nanga. The loss is painful but she will always be with us,” he posted on Facebook.
The first person to share the news on social media was renowned human rights activist, Al Amin Kimathi, who sent his condolence message to the Kelembas.
“Sincere heartfelt condolences to Ndugu Paul Kelemba (Maddo) @itsmaddworld and family for the loss of his beloved wife Eunice Kelemba. This is a heavy one but may God give them the wherewithal to bear it. From God we all come and to him is our return,” he posted on Twitter.

Eunice Kelemba was born on June 1,1967 and passed away on November 15 at the age of 53.
