Celebrities, fans stand with Ruth Matete following her hubby’s death
The gospel music fraternity, other celebrities and fans have come out and poured condolences to gospel artiste and Tusker Project Fame 5 winner Ruth Matete, who lost her Nigerian husband on Saturday.
Her husband John Apewajoye alias Beloved John, died while undergoing treatment for burns at a Nairobi based hospital.
According to Matete’s father Abel Amunga, John died in ICU at Kenyatta National Hospital after being transferred from Bellevue hospital ICU in South C estate.
Ruth Matete, who is pregnant and is in her first trimester, confirmed the sad news of her husband’s passing through her social media pages asking for prayers during her trying moment.
“My Husband Beloved John Apewajoye has gone to be with the Lord ..I humbly ask for your prayers during this difficult time, “Ruth Matete wrote confirming the sad news.
Matete got married to her Nigerian husband in November 2019, and they were expecting their first born child.
