Chameleone replaces Diamond in Safaricom annual event
One of Uganda’s top acts, singer Jose Chameleone, has replaced Tanzanian star Diamond Platinumz in this year’s Safaricom dealers appreciation concert.
Last year, Diamond headlined the concert at the Carnivore grounds where he was allegedly paid $25,000 (about Sh2.2 million) to perform for one hour.
Although Chameleone landed in Nairobi on Thursday, it is not clear how much he charged the giant mobile service provider for the concert.
Despite having a few mishaps in Kenyan shows, Chameleone still remains a star attraction in Kenya, judging by his latest hits and the frequency of his travel to Kenya to perform in the past one year.
