Choma kabisa, we’re proud of you, Senator Aaron Cheruiyot tells Riggy G


Kericho Senator, Aaron Cheruiyot, has urged Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to continue expressing himself not pay attention on how the media interprets his speeches.

Speaking during the burial ceremony of the DP’s brother, Jackson Reriani Gachagua on Tuesday in Hiriga village, Nyeri County, Cheruiyot said the Kenya Kwanza government is proud of Gachagua and will support him in every way.

While responding to Taifa Leo’s top story that ran under the headline ‘Gachagua Aendelea Kuchoma’, the Senator said some people are forgetting that Gachagua in now the DP.

In the article, Taifa Leo has highlighted occasions when the DP made statements that appear to contradict the government position.

But Senator Cheruiyot asked the DP not to worry too much about what the media says about him.

“The Bible says that God prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies. I’m seeing some issues here and there in one of the newspapers. But let that not make you worried. We are with you,” Senator Cheruiyot said.

“Those people writing such things have not yet come to terms that you are the Deputy President… I have seen they are saying… Ohh, Gachagua anachoma… don’t worry. For us as Kenya Kwanza leaders, we are always proud of you. We are behind you,” Mr Cheruiyot said.

The senator also encouraged DP to continue speaking the truth no matter what his critics say.

“If the truth you speak about the real situation in the country is what they are referring to as kuchoma, please go on. Don’t stop because we are with you. Riggy G we love you and are behind your back” he said.
