November 18th, 2013 1 min read

Former Juja MP George Thuo suddenly collapsed on Sunday evening  while having drinks with friends at a Kiambu club and is later pronounced dead.

Mr Thuo was one of the founding members of the Citi Hoppa buses that briefly dominated commuter transport in the capital following the collapse of semi-state owned Kenya Bus Service (KBS) in 2003.

Governor Evans Kidero was among the leaders who mourned Mr Thuo.

“Just learnt of the untimely demise of the former Juja MP George Thuo. A friend to many. May his Soul rest in Eternal Peace,” Mr Kidero said in a tweet.
